オペラ狂、ミュージカル、エンタメ全般、大好きな私…　このブログでは、子供楽しめるオペラやミュージカル、その他もろもろのパフォーミンフアート/エンターテーメントについて,　お喋りさせていただきます！

独身の頃は一人でフラフラ観に行っていたオペラやミュージカル。でも子供ができてからは、子供たちと一緒に楽しみたい！

さて、マイキッズ…現在社会人の娘と小学６年生の息子。

二人ともオペラファンとまではいきませんが、まあまあ。

驚くことに、息子のほうが反応良いです（笑）

（このブログを始めた時は、息子は無理かなーと思ってました）

よく、ママ友、おばあちゃん友（？）から

「子供が実際楽しんでくれるオペラってどれだと思う？お金を捨てた~って思わないような。。。」

とか、

「どのミュージカルが子供も楽しめて、大人も、ワタシも、楽しめるのかしら？」

などの質問を受けます。

せっかく時間とお金を費やして観に行くのだから、子供たちが本当に楽しめて、大好きになってくれるのはもちろん、自分も一緒に楽しめる一流の作品を観せてあげたいですよね。

少しでもこのブログがそんな皆さんのお役に立てれますように。

Welcome to musicalandoperawithkids.com!

This blog is all about having a fun with your children (or your nieces and nephews and grand kids and god kids so on, you know what I mean!) at Opera and/or Broadway shows, etc.

I have 2 kids, an adult daughter , and a raising 7th grader boy.

Living in New York, I have wonderful opportunities to immense myself to the world class performances, also with my family too.

Lucky me, Lucky them! 

Very often, my friends ask me  questions something like , “Which opera do you think my kids would actually enjoy, so I wouldn’t feel I am wasting $$?”  or, ” Which musical is fun for kids to see? AND , me , an adult can actually enjoy it?” so on.

Those are questions I also asked myself  too. You would like your kids to love and enjoy , opera, Broadway shows, or any wonderful performances. But more so, you have to pick the show you could also love and enjoy.

After all, you are spending your precious time and money!

I hope this blog will help you and your kids to find love for opera and musical, as well as all great performing arts, and having a magical time together!
